A delegation from the Prisons Service Council led by the Council Chairman, Apostle Eng. Nana Yaw Kumi Larbi paid a visit to the Ho Central Prison and Ho Female Prisons on Thursday, 4th June, 2026.
The members were received and welcomed by the Volta Regional Commander, DDP Joseph A. Vuu and Female Officer in Charge, ADP Lydia Odoi Yemoh(Mrs) and the Second in Command of Ho Central Prison, ADP Paul Asiamah.
DDP Joseph A. Vuu briefed the members comprehensively on operations of both prisons after which they inspected skills training workshops and ongoing projects including the poultry farm, block factory, tailoring shop and the greenhouse.
The council members later met and interacted with the inmates and took notes of their complaints and promised to address them.
