His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has ended his two-day Resetting Ghana Tour in the Eastern Region with an inspection of ongoing works on the Akosombo–Gyakiti–Kudukope Feeder Road.
The project spans approximately 32 kilometres and involves the upgrading of the road to bituminous standard, including drainage systems, culverts, and related infrastructure to improve connectivity between communities within the enclave.
Currently at about 36 percent physical progress, the project is expected to enhance transportation, facilitate trade, and improve access for residents across the area.
The President described the road as a priority intervention and emphasised the need for quality and timely completion. He urged the contractor to expedite work and deliver to standard to meet the expectations of the people.
He further indicated his intention to return to commission the project upon completion.
