DAILY NEWSFLASH – Hon. John Dumelo, Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, has purchased over 10,000 bowls of gari from women in the Volta Region to support students in his constituency preparing for Senior High School.
The gari forms part of the school supplies being provided to the students ahead of their SHS journey.
Beyond supporting education, the gesture also directly injects funds into the local economy by putting money into the hands of Volta women engaged in gari processing and trading.
Speaking on the initiative, Hon. Dumelo said:
