DAILY NEWSFLASH – A 27-year-old man has been apprehended by residents at Atiaa near Lamptey Mills in the Ga South Municipality for allegedly attempting to abduct an 11-year-old girl for ritual purposes.
The suspect, identified only as “C Prof”, was reportedly seen dragging the girl into an uncompleted building believed to be his shrine.
Alarmed residents intervened and conducted a search of his belongings, during which a bag containing suspected human skeletal parts was allegedly found.
The suspect is currently in police custody as investigations continue.
Authorities have urged parents and guardians to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities in their communities.
