A young man has been apprehended by the youth of Dzogadze in connection with alleged stealing.
What happened
The suspect, identified as Sakora from Agorweme in the Akatsi South Municipality, believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s, was arrested on Monday, August 10, 2026, on suspicion of theft.
He was later brought to the palace of Brimshibrim Gorni Treve IV, Dufia of the area.
According to a Facebook post by the chief, the suspect was subsequently handed over to the Abor Police for investigation.
Chief’s message
The chief commended the youth for their vigilance and also cautioned the public against jungle justice/mob justice, urging residents to allow the law to take its course.
He further raised concern about rising theft in the area:
> “Why are the young energetic men investing their energy into stealing?”
Police update
The case is currently under investigation at the Abor Police Station.
