The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, welcomed a delegation from World Vision to the Volta Regional Coordinating Council for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the Universal Service Coverage for Water, Sanitation and Health initiative in the Agortime-Ziope District.
The Minister expressed the Volta Regional Coordinating Council’s appreciation for the partnership, emphasizing its commitment to working closely with development partners to implement impactful interventions that improve the quality of life of people across the region.
The MoU was signed on behalf of the Agortime-Ziope District Assembly by the District Chief Executive, Hon. Alfred E. Odikro, and the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Reuben Akuffo.
The initiative is expected to expand access to safe drinking water, improve sanitation services, and promote better health outcomes for communities in the Agortime-Ziope District, contributing to the region’s broader development agenda.
