How can you preach and a sinner is comfortable? As in, they’re smiling and laughing throughout your message?
In those days it was not so.The Word of God was Sword and Hammer in those days.That broke the Hardest of heart, and pierced the heart of the most Notorious sinners.
As a preacher, you should weep anyday a sinner listens to your message comfortably without any conviction.
You should cry the day a sinner comes to you after your message, and say, “your message was powerful”…hmmmmm. Powerful and it didn’t change your life?
Old Testament prophet. Prophet Jonah, went to Neniveh to preach, and conviction came upon the people. And a whole nation got it right with God again, Because of one man’s Message.
But, what are we seeing today? Churches Everywhere, yet Sinners are proudly showcasing their sin.
Pastor everywhere and evil is increasing in the land, and some of these men are our members.
Our churches are packed, full from Sunday to Sunday, and yet sinners are not transformed.
No, this will not happen in Apostle Peter’s time. He preached on the day of Pentecost and 3000 men Got Born again Genuinely.
Conviction came upon them, and they cried, WHAT MUST WE DO TO BE SAVED?
Man of God, when last did you preach and a sinner cried and asked you, What must I do to be saved?. Tell yourself the truth.
Our messages today are so full of GREAT SPEECH and not GREAT POWER.
Your preaching from Sunday to Sunday, year to year. Is DIE BY FIRE, BACK TO SENDER, OIL FOR BIG CAR, GRACE TO TRAVEL ABROAD, THAT WITCH MUST DIE, NO MORE BURIAL etc. Are you kidding me??!
Where are messages like, JESUS SAVES, SINNERS IN THE HANDS OF AN ANGRY GOD,THE CROSS, HOLINESS THE WAY TO HEAVEN, COME TO JESUS.?
NO, these messages are now strange in our Churches today. And yet we are waiting for Revival. Hmm
The Messages of the Apostles and Revivalist carried FIRE.
Their messages never excited men, it only transformed them.
Man of God, are you not tired of seeing fornicators handling kingdom matters in your church, are you not tired of preaching to Cold and Sinful members from Sunday to Sunday?
Men of God, we need to return to the days of CONVICTION, men need to cry again in your meetings, Men need to Shout “What must we do to be saved ” in your meetings again.
Something should happen in your church. That Sinner in the Usher department, that boy, that girl, something should happen to them.
Let’s cry for revival, let’s cry for the Convicting power of the Holy Spirit in our churches again.
No sinner should be comfortable in our meetings again.
THE CHURCH IS NOT A WAREHOUSE, THE CHURCH IS A PLACE OF CHANGE.
Man of God, your messages need FIRE, your messages need to be Sword ⚔and Hammer.⛏
SLEEPING PREACHERS EVERYWHERE!!
When the message is on FIRE, WE CAN’T SLEEP, When the MESSAGE carry fire, we will BURN.
