During the campaign season, many promises were made about reducing the cost of living and supporting farmers. Today, farmers and ordinary Ghanaians are asking tough questions as input costs remain high and economic pressures continue.
What’s even more striking is the silence from sections of the media and some of the loudest voices who were quick to criticize previous governments. If these same prices existed under a different administration, headlines and panel discussions would likely be dominated by public outrage.
Accountability should not depend on which party is in power. Whether it’s the NDC, NPP, or any other government, Ghanaians deserve consistency, honesty, and solutions—not selective criticism.
Election choices have real consequences, and citizens have every right to demand results from the leaders they voted for.
