One message stood out clearly:
Climate change is no longer a future threat to farmers. It is already here.
Floods, droughts, rising temperatures, unpredictable rainfall and increasing production costs are affecting food production across Ghana.
The discussions focused on how Ghana can build a more resilient food system, strengthen food security, reduce import dependency and create sustainable opportunities for farmers.
The future of Ghana’s agriculture will depend not only on how much food we produce, but how well we prepare for the challenges ahead.
