The people of Asuogyaman in the Eastern Region are left with mourning as an accident claimed two lives including a pregnant woman.
On Thursday 28th May 2028 An accident occurred at Atimpoku – Police station market around 11:30 am.
The accident involves a tipper truck with the registration number GR 2125-22 loaded with building sand heading towards Kpong and a birrion Van also heading towards Akosombo.
According to the Assembly member, Hon. Zulak, the tipper truck was on top speed and the billion Van was also on speed coming so the truck driver tried to give way to the Van then suddenly, the truck turned and felt on two pedestrians who also came to market to buy so they were trying to cross the road to the other side of the road where the market is.
These two pedestrians gave up their ghost after a rescued by the fire service, Police service and Ambulance so their bodies were convey to the VRA hospital.
