According to eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred after an argument broke out between the passenger and the mate over the amount charged for the trip. The misunderstanding, which reportedly started as a verbal exchange, quickly escalated into a heated confrontation inside the moving commercial vehicle.
In the midst of the altercation, the angry passenger allegedly pulled out a pair of scissors and attacked the mate, stabbing him and causing fear and confusion among passengers on board.
