Okokodurofo Nana Afrakoma II is the esteemed Paramount Queen Mother (Akwamuhemaa) of the Akwamu Traditional Area (Akwamuman) in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Revered as one of the most resilient, progressive, and longest-serving traditional female leaders in modern Ghanaian history, she has guided Akwamuman through eras of immense cultural preservation, social transition, and development.
