Media personality Ohemaa Woyeje has revealed that she no longer places expectations on the gender of a future child, saying such expectations can lead to disappointment and affect how parents receive their babies.
Speaking with MzGee, she explained that she and her husband are currently satisfied with their two daughters and are not feeling pressured to have more children.
According to her, her perspective was shaped partly by her childbirth experiences, especially her second delivery abroad, which she described as far more difficult and physically demanding than the first.
Ohemaa Woyeje stressed that she simply wants a healthy and beautiful child, regardless of gender, adding that focusing too much on having a boy can prevent parents from fully appreciating the blessing of the child they receive.
