This is the Avetakpo basic school. It consist of only 3 classroom blocks with an office. It was the community that started the structure then was later funded by an US ambassador but the school is no more operating since last year 11th September 2025 as seen on the board due to lack of teachers. According to the SMC chair, it was only one teacher who was in charge as headmaster and same time teaching the 3 classes (1-3) . He said the teacher is not staying in the community but have been coming from a far away community before coming to the school and due to poor road network, lack of electricity and stress, he seek for transfer and was now transferred to different school which contributed to the closing down of the school
The people in the community are also facing some development crisis such as electricity, clean drinking water, poor roads network. It’s a cried of development.
