A 27-year-old man, identified as Kwadwo Richmond, is currently on the run after allegedly killing his friend over a GH¢20 dispute at Asante Akyem Asuboah.
The victim, known as Evis, is said to have had a misunderstanding with Richmond after reportedly failing to give him the GH¢20 he had earlier promised.
According to reports, the two met outside the community, where the issue escalated into a heated confrontation. In the course of the argument, Richmond allegedly attacked Evis with a cutlass.
Police are yet to confirm further details, but efforts are underway to track down the suspect.
