Lawyer Samuel Kissiedu has stated that engaging in sexual activity inside a car could result in legal consequences in Ghana.
Speaking in an interview on Okay FM on April 27, 2026, he explained that although many people treat the act as harmless, it may be classified as gross indecency under Ghanaian law, which can lead to prosecution.
He pointed out that such incidents often go unnoticed, which is why some individuals continue the behavior without facing consequences. However, he stressed that the law still applies regardless of how common it may seem.
According to him, sexual acts are expected to take place in private. He added that once a car is in a public space—whether moving on the road or parked near homes—it is still regarded as a public setting.
As a result, anyone caught engaging in such conduct could face legal penalties.
