A domestic dispute in Mooihoek village in Sekhukhune turned violent on Sunday, 19 April, after a woman allegedly assaulted her husband, leaving him unconscious.
Reports suggest that since January, residents had warned the woman that her husband was allegedly engaging in bestiality (sexual intercourse with animal/s ) involving a goat.
The woman reportedly refused to believe the claims and became angry with those informing her. This past Sunday, however, she was allegedly called to the scene and witnessed the situation herself.
Following the discovery, the woman reportedly confronted her husband and accused him of embarrassing her in the community.
Although the husband allegedly asked for forgiveness, the confrontation escalated, and the woman reportedly assaulted him until he collapsed. He was then taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
