The Minister for Health, 𝐊𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐡 𝐀𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐡, has directed the 𝐈𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 of 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐃𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐒 and 𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐖𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐒 to the 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥, 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐚 following the heartbreaking death of a pregnant woman at the facility.
The tragic incident has sparked serious concerns over 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘, staffing challenges, and emergency response at public health facilities across Ghana.
Many Ghanaians are now calling for urgent reforms to ensure that no expectant mother loses her life due to delays or inadequate medical attention.
