The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has announced that 268 fuel stations, eight depots, and two refineries across the Greater Accra, Ashanti, Western, and Northern regions will be included in the phased implementation of the government’s 24-hour economy programme within the downstream petroleum sector.

Speaking at the launch of the pilot phase of the initiative, Godwin Edudzi Tameklo, Chief Executive of the NPA, said the programme is expected to improve operational efficiency, fuel distribution, and economic activity in the sector.

According to him, the rollout will begin with selected facilities in the four regions as part of efforts to test the system before a nationwide expansion.
