The Volta Region representative and winner of the 2025 TV3 Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) pageant, Queen Etornam, has successfully commissioned a fully equipped STEM Computer Laboratory for the Juapong Roman Catholic Basic School to enhance the teaching and learning of technology.
The project, executed through the Queen Etornam BEit Foundation in partnership with the Maxim Nyansa Foundation, aims to bridge the digital gap and equip pupils with practical ICT, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Queen Etornam said the project was her way of showing appreciation to the school and the entire Juapong community for their massive support during her 2025 GMB journey.
According to her, when she went round seeking support, the people of Juapong never turned her down. During her thanksgiving tour, the Headmistress of the school made a passionate appeal for a computer laboratory, a request she could not ignore.
“When the Headmistress requested a computer lab, I couldn’t sleep over it. I quickly approached the Maxim Nyansa Foundation, an NGO that supports communities with infrastructure and computer labs, and they did not disappoint,” she stated.
In addition to the lab, Queen Etornam donated 500 customized exercise books to pupils of the school.
She noted that the core aim of the Queen Etornam BEit Foundation is to inspire and create a positive impact in the lives of people, especially the youth, and pledged her continuous support to the school whenever the need arises.
She expressed gratitude to the school authorities, traditional leaders, Muslim leaders, parents, and all who graced the occasion.

On behalf of the Maxim Nyansa Foundation, the financiers of the project, Mr. Stanley Denkyira, disclosed that Queen Etornam’s request coincided with the Foundation’s 10th anniversary, which motivated them to go beyond her initial request.
He explained that although she requested only computers, the Foundation equipped the facility with 25 desktop computers connected to a server with all relevant learning resources to make teaching and learning fully digital.
“We have added STEM kits to improve the skills of the children through Robotics and AI. We have also trained five teachers who will be taking the pupils through AI and digital skills,” he said.
He added that the project was executed in honour of the BEit Foundation through Queen Etornam to support the school and the community as part of their anniversary celebration.
