Today, I held an emergency meeting with all Municipal and District Chief Executives, consultants and contractors working on the 24-Hour Economy Market Projects in the Volta Region.
The meeting at the Residency Conference Room provided an opportunity to receive updates on the progress of work across the beneficiary Assemblies, identify challenges and agree on practical measures to accelerate implementation.
I emphasised the need for stronger collaboration among the Assemblies, consultants and contractors to resolve outstanding issues and ensure that these important projects are completed on schedule and deliver the intended economic benefits to our communities.
