Ayawaso West Municipal MP, John Dumelo, has spent the past three days distributing essential items to JHS graduates in his constituency who are preparing to enter Senior High School.
The items include trunks, mattresses, gari, sugar, cutlasses and sanitary pads for female students, among other basic necessities.
The initiative is intended to ease the financial burden on families and help students prepare adequately for the transition to SHS.
Dumelo says the distribution will continue throughout this week, with more students expected to benefit.
The gesture forms part of his efforts to support education and the welfare of young people in the Ayawaso West constituency.
