NEW LONDON – The Sinoston Dofor New London community is in mourning this morning following a tragic workplace accident that claimed the life of Noah, one of the facility’s long-serving and beloved workers.
What Happened
The incident occurred at the start of operations today when a loader driver was operating machinery within the facility. In the process, the machinery struck Noah, resulting in his death instantly.
Colleagues say Noah was often seen resting or sleeping in areas across the site during breaks or quiet hours — a habit that was familiar to many workers and drivers. It appears he was in one of his usual resting places when the tragedy occurred.
Remembering Noah
To his colleagues, Noah was more than just a worker. He was described as a gentle, quiet, and humble soul who did not seek attention but was known and respected by all.
“Not everyone fully knew his ways or his routines, but every driver and teammate knew Noah. They saw him daily, greeted him, and respected his presence. He was faithful, always around, steady in his own quiet manner,” a colleague shared.
His sudden passing has left staff, management, and the entire New London community in deep sorrow.
Next Steps
Management of Sinoston Dofor is yet to issue a formal statement on the incident. Colleagues are calling for workplace safety to be reviewed to prevent a recurrence.
Noah’s physical presence will be greatly missed, but his spirit, memory, and the mark he left on this workplace will remain with everyone who knew him.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Noah’s family, friends, and the entire Sinoston Dofor New London team during this difficult time.
