A young tricycle rider has been apprehended after he allegedly sold his employer’s Pragya and later reported it stolen by armed robbers.
According to reports, the suspect deceived his employer into handing over the ownership documents of the tricycle, claiming he needed them to facilitate his work.
However, police investigations revealed that he allegedly used the same documents to sell the tricycle at Wassa Akropong for GH¢30,000.
The matter has since been reported to the police, and the suspect is in custody assisting with investigations.
Authorities have cautioned vehicle owners to be careful when releasing key documents to employees to avoid similar incidents.
