A cry for development

The people of fodzoku in the North Tongu constituency are crying unto the government to renovate the abandoned 7 years police units for security operation.

Speaking with the Assembly member, Honorable Franklin Afelete, he said the project was started in the year 2016 by the former NDC government which was one of the district Assembly's projects but unfortunately the NDC government was not able to complete until there was  changed of government. He said, when the NPP took over power, the former District Chief Executive, Honorable Collins Aku completed the project and was commission on the 16th April 2019 but was not fully equipped to start operating. 

After the commission, the units was still lacking certain things such as furnitures, electricity , water and even counter for the officers to write on.
for that matter the commander said until all this these are put in place he can’t deploy officers to come and work in the unit and now the police units block is abandoned the bush routing.
The authorities in the community is appealing to the government especially the North Tongu District Assembly for renovations so that officers can stay and work to manage the rate of theft cases in the community.
