A massive demo took place in Accra on Thursday, June 11, as Ghanaians demand the shut down of all companies owned by South Africans in Ghana.
The demonstration, organized by the Ghana First Alliance, was held at Independence Square, where protesters carried placards and chanted “South Africa Must Go” in response to what South Africans did to Ghanaians and other foreigners in their country.
The protest follows the recent evacuation of more than 800 Ghanaians from South Africa over xenoph0bia attacks in areas including Johannesburg and Durban.
