According to a Facebook post by the District Chief Executive for Central Tongu, Hon. Addison Dodzi Mornyuie, GETFund has approved new targeted emergency educational infrastructure projects for the district, with procurement processes already underway.
The approved projects include:
Mafi Kumase Secondary Technical School – a 12-unit classroom block and a 2-storey girls’ dormitory block.
Adidome Senior High School (ADISEC) – a 12-unit classroom block and a 2-storey boys’ dormitory block.
He stated, these interventions, secured through the collaborative efforts of the Member of Parliament for Central Tongu, Hon. Alexander Roosevelt Hottordze, and key stakeholders, the project is expected to significantly improve teaching and learning conditions, expand student accommodation, and strengthen educational development within the district.
This development represents another important investment in the future of education in Central Tongu.
