Hon. Victoria Amefadzi on Thursday, 21st May 2026, led the North Tongu District Assembly, together with the District Coordinating Director, Internal Audit Unit, Finance Office and other officers, to appear before the Public Accounts Committee of the Parliament of Ghana during the Zonal Session held in Ada.
During the session, the Assembly responded to a sole audit infraction concerning the Juapong Market fence wall, that was reported during auditing as being 98% completed. I am pleased to state that the said project has since been fully completed and is currently in use.
The Honorable express her appreciation to the Committee for the opportunity to clarify the matter and reaffirm her commitment to transparency, accountability and effective public financial management.
She also extend her sincere gratitude to H.E. John Dramani Mahama and our Member of Parliament and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, for their continuous support and contributions towards the development of North Tongu.
